🎄Monticello Drive's 3rd Annual Light Show: A Dazzling Display of Festive Spirit & Community Giving

Monticello Drive is all set to dazzle residents and visitors with its 3rd Annual Monticello Lights event. This year, the event promises to be even more magical and memorable, with new displays being unveiled on Saturday, December 9th, and Sunday, December 10th, from 6:00-9:00pm.

The Monticello community has come together to create a drive-through holiday spectacle, where neighbors compete to showcase the most outstanding festive displays. As visitors drive through the neighborhood, they can tune their radios to 88.9 FM to enjoy festive holiday music that is synchronized with a mesmerizing light show at 538 Monticello Dr.

In the spirit of giving, the event will also serve as a fundraiser. All proceeds from this year's event will benefit WTAE's Project Bundle Up and Delmont Borough Parks and Recreation. Donation jars will be conveniently placed throughout the neighborhood, and attendees can make their contributions via cash, check, or Venmo (@Monticello-Lights). Those who wish to make a tax-deductible donation can do so by writing a check to either of the mentioned charities and placing it in a donation jar.

Additionally, visitors have the opportunity to vote for their favorite display. To cast a vote, attendees can include the house number with their Venmo donation or place their donation in the box at their preferred display. All donations will be evenly distributed between the two charities.

The Monticello community is excited to make this year's event even bigger and better with the support of everyone. For the latest updates and more details about the event, the public is encouraged to follow the official Facebook page.

👍👎Sports Complex Enhancements: Yay or Nay

Murrysville has seen a growth in its youth sports programs, and with this comes discussions about the state of our municipal sports complexes. Several suggestions have been made by community members:

Field Lights:
These could extend usability during the early spring and fall seasons when daylight is limited and also open up more flexibility when it come to scheduling.

Turf Upgrades:
Introducing a turf soccer field or turfed baseball diamond infields might address current drainage challenges, which sometimes lead to game cancellations and rescheduling.

Your Opinion:
Are you open to the idea of upgrading our sports facilities based?

Panther Functional Medicine & Chiropractic: Bridging Traditional and Modern Care in Murrysville

Located on William Penn Highway, Panther Functional Medicine & Chiropractic offers a blend of chiropractic care and functional medicine services. The clinic, under the guidance of Dr. Danielle L. Marra, aims to provide individualized care tailored to the specific needs of its patients.

Dr. Marra, with 23 years of experience in the field, graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic. Her interest in functional medicine led her to pursue further studies, and she's currently eligible for the DACBI diplomate, a certification recognized by the American Chiropractic Association.

The clinic's services extend beyond traditional chiropractic adjustments. They also offer treatments such as red light therapy, hyperbaric oxygen, and a collaboration with Hydrate 2 Heal Infusion Therapy for IV nutrient therapy. Functional medicine, which focuses on addressing the root causes of health issues rather than just the symptoms, is a significant aspect of the clinic's approach.

Having previously co-owned a practice in White Oak, Dr. Marra's decision to establish a clinic in Murrysville was influenced by her desire to be closer to her community and family. She emphasizes the importance of understanding each patient's unique medical and physical condition to tailor a specific plan of action.

For those interested in a comprehensive approach to healthcare that combines traditional chiropractic methods with functional medicine, Panther Functional Medicine & Chiropractic offers a range of services in Murrysville.
