Join Franklin Regional's Effort to Provide Holiday Assistance to Families in Need

The holiday season, while often filled with joy and celebration, can also bring financial stress for some families. Recognizing this, Franklin Regional School District is collaborating with local organizations to extend a helping hand to those in need. Families seeking confidential assistance are encouraged to reach out to their child's school counselor by November 17th.

In the spirit of community and giving, the district is also calling on those who can contribute to this cause. Donations in the form of gift cards are greatly appreciated. Interested donors are asked to fill out the provided donation form and return it to their child's teacher by the aforementioned date. The school will then coordinate with the donors regarding the specific gift card needed and the details for delivery.

This initiative is a testament to the district's commitment to its community, ensuring that the holiday spirit is accessible to all families, and that the school's support extends beyond the classroom.

Franklin Regional High School Thespians to Stage "A Christmas Carol"

Franklin Regional Senior High School's talented Thespians are set to bring the timeless tale of "A Christmas Carol" to life on stage. This Charles Dickens classic, a story that captures the essence of the holiday spirit, will be performed by the school's dedicated student actors.

Audience members can purchase tickets at $5.00 each, available exclusively at the door on the day of the performance. Cash transactions only, please.

The performances are scheduled as follows:

🗓️ December 1 and 2 at 7:30 PM

🗓️ December 3 at 2:00 PM

All shows will take place in the Franklin Regional High School Auditorium. Be sure to mark your calendars and join us to kick off the holiday season with a performance that promises to enchant and remind us all of the joy of giving and the warmth of the holiday season.

Local Business Spotlight: Avere Beauty

In the heart of Murrysville (5100 Old William Penn Hwy) Avere Beauty emerges as a modern sanctuary for aesthetic enhancement and self-care. Co-founders Alyssa Luciano, a seasoned nurse, and Frank Udavcak, with his business acumen, have propelled Avere Beauty from a single office to two flourishing locations within four years.

Avere Beauty specializes in laser hair removal, injections, and facials, but it's their philosophy that sets them apart. They advocate for a "less is more" approach, focusing on natural results and patient education. This ethos is also evident in their shadowing program, which mentors aspiring aesthetic nurses.

Community engagement is integral to Avere Beauty's ethos. Their recent sponsorship of Pittsburgh Fashion Week and participation in local events like the Lawrenceville cookie tour reflect their commitment to community presence and support.

As for their future, Avere Beauty is expanding its repertoire with new skincare products and services like the Hydrafacial, while ensuring clients are informed of monthly promotions through their active social media presence and mailing lists.

Further details about their services can be found on their website, averebeauty.com, and through their social media channels, where they maintain an active dialogue with the community.
