In Murrysville, the planning commission has recommended the development of "Your Daily Brew," a new beer distributor adjacent to the Sunoco station at Berlin Farm Road and Route 22. Managed by the Sunoco station owners, the distributor will operate daily, with the design matching the existing Sunoco station.

The commission is also considering a proposal for Caliber Collision, an automotive service center, at 6037 William Penn Highway. However, they have rejected a plan for expanding the Summerhill Place housing project due to insufficient documentation. These decisions reflect Murrysville's ongoing balancing act between commercial development and community interests.

Murrysville Community Library Hosts a Festive Puppet Adventure: Where in the World is Rudy?

The Murrysville Community Library is set to host the Pittsburgh Puppet Works Christmas Show titled "Where in the World is Rudy?" on December 11, 2023. This enchanting performance, scheduled from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, promises a heartwarming and humorous adventure perfect for the holiday season.

The story unfolds on Christmas Eve, with Santa and his reindeer team eagerly preparing for their annual gift-delivery voyage. But there's a twist – Rudy, the iconic red-nosed reindeer, is nowhere to be found! As the clock ticks towards departure, a series of comedic and musical escapades ensue, featuring holiday songs from different parts of the world. The audience will be taken on a global journey as various characters try to guide Rudy back to the North Pole, leading to a series of amusing misadventures.

This family-friendly show incorporates a mix of jolly tunes, light-hearted jokes, and mini-skits, ensuring an engaging experience for attendees of all ages. As Rudy's journey unfolds, the suspense builds: will he make it back in time to join Santa for the Christmas flight? Or will Santa have to embark on his journey without his most famous reindeer?

🎅🍪 Export Celebrates Holiday Season with Light Up Night & Cookie Crawl

Export is gearing up for a festive evening with its upcoming "Light Up Night & Cookie Crawl" event scheduled for Friday, December 1st, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The event promises a blend of holiday cheer and community spirit, featuring a variety of activities and local delights.

Attendees are invited to Rewind, a local business, where they can engage in a fun-filled ornament-making activity. Adding to the festive atmosphere, the Export Moose will host a Fish Fry, serving delicious meals from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

A highlight of the evening will be Santa's arrival at the Fire Hall at 7:00 PM, bringing joy and excitement for families and children. Additionally, the Export Volunteer Fire Department will distribute punch cards to visitors. These cards can be used to collect punches and cookies at participating local businesses.
