The Franklin Regional Panther Marching Band recently had the opportunity to perform in Hawaii, showcasing their talents in both a tribute performance near the USS Arizona Memorial and the annual Pearl Harbor parade in Honolulu.
This prestigious engagement adds to their impressive history of performances, which over the last ten years has included appearances at major events like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City and the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena.

The Delmont Borough is gearing up for its much-anticipated annual Santa Claus Parade, scheduled to take place on December 17 at 3:30 p.m. This festive event will commence at the Faith Global Church, located on Freeport Road, and will conclude at the Rose Wigfield Parklet at 27 Greensburg Street by 4 p.m. To accommodate the parade, Greensburg Street will be temporarily closed between the parklet and Pittsburgh Street from 3 to 8 p.m.
This year's parade promises a delightful array of participants, including the Salvation Army, Just Catch It Twirling, the Delmont Volunteer Fire Department, and the Delmont Police Department. Adding to the holiday cheer, Santa's elves will accompany the procession, and Santa himself will be present, spreading joy and handing out candy to children throughout the borough.
